Last night I watched Britney: For the Record and actually felt bad for Britney Spears. When I was in middle school, I really disliked her. My sister had all the CD's and I learned most of the songs because they were played so often. But my Hot Topic/Pac Sun shopping self was actually tempted to buy one of those "Spear Britney" shirts.
Now I feel like her music isn't trying to fit a mold. It just is. It's fun, crazy, dancing music and you know what? I'm actually excited for the new CD tomorrow.

i've gotta be honest, i always knew she was going to have a triumphant return... I'm not saying I predicted it, or that I knew about it before anyone else. Just that deep down, even when everyone was shitting on her, they were pulling for her too. Cuz she's beautiful, and because we need new material for VH1's show... whatsitcalled.
