Let the Countdown Begin!

It's officially the holiday season! Black Friday was crazy and fun and now I'm preparing my holiday greetings (I'm one step ahead this year!)

I really hope that mailing greeting cards never goes out of style. I think it's great to receive and send them by snail mail - even if it means I have to have them ready earlier!

Shecky's Girls Night Out

Last Thursday my friends and I traveled down to the Wanamaker Building in Philly for a Girls' Night Out event. Not knowing what to expect, I brought a bit of cash and my curiosity. We got there and were greeted with free drinks and a whole lot of women!

The clothing and jewelry was all nice, mostly high end things. It was nice to just be girls after a crazy day! We got really cool gift bags too! I recommend checking it out at least once. Some things were a little over-priced, but others were great!

October: A Month for Awareness

Not only is October German American Heritage month (which I will celebrate with pride), it's also National Breast Cancer Awareness month. In honor of this, I ask that you help our your local ACS chapter by making a donation or go out and by the zillions of Pink products they have out there.

Whatever it may be, take this time to help in any way you can. And hey, if you want to wear a dirndl while doing it, go for it!
